European Business Association Mining Day

On 22 September in Kyiv, a special industry event Mining Day was held, organised by the European Business Association Subsoil Use Committee. Mining Day brought together subsoil users, specialists and government officials.

The presentations were made in three panels:

Panel I. Subsoil use in 2023: business` and government`s vision

Panel II. Investment in natural resources: prospects and opportunities

Panel III. Subsoil use: challenges and solutions.

Representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, Ukrainian Geological Survey and the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reported on the results of the subsoil use reform.

The results of the study “Subsoil Use in the Context of Industry Reform and Development Prospects” conducted by the European Business Association among member companies operating in the subsoil use sector, were presented.
