Webinar ‘Micromine Origin & Beyond: Innovative Tools for Exploration and Mining’

On 12th November Softmaine hosted a webinar on Micromine innovative solutions in geology and mining engineering, which help optimise the work of geologists, mining engineers and surveyors. Participants were able to learn about the advanced tools used in key aspects of geological exploration and mining:

  • Geological wireframe and implicit modelling
  • Block modelling and mineral resource estimation 
  • Geological and resource modelling using artificial intelligence 
  • Mineral resource optimisation 
  • Open pit and underground mine design 
  • Scheduling of open pit and underground mining operations

The event was attended by more than 70 specialists from a range of organisations, including specialists from mining enterprises, geological companies, universities and government institutions. We sincerely thank all the participants for their keen interest in advanced technologies changing the approach to geological exploration and mining. Despite the challenges faced by Ukraine’s geological and mining companies in wartime, Ukrainian specialists are developing and improving.
