V International Conference "Essays of Mining Science and Practice"

On November 8-10, the Institute of Geotechnical Mechanics named by N. Poljakov of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine hosted the V International Conference”Essays of Mining Science and Practice 2023“

Natalia Bariatska made a presentation on the topic “Strategic planning of open pit mining operations using the Micromine Beyond Optimiser”.

Specialized algorithms of the Micromine Beyond Optimizer allow strategic planning of open pit mining operations based on present value maximization or expense minimization.

The report was prepared in collaboration with Oleh Anisimov and Oleksii Cherniaiev from the Dnipro University of Technology.
