The III International Scientific and Technical Conference, "Challenges of Ensuring Ukraine`s Mineral Resources in the Context of Post-War Reconstruction – 2025"

On May 29-30, the Department of Surface Mining at Dnipro University of Technology hosted the third International Scientific and Technical Conference, “Challenges of Ensuring Ukraine`s  Mineral Resources in the Context of Post-War Reconstruction – 2025“. This event brought together scientists and industry professionals to discuss important and timely topics related to Ukraine’s mineral resource development.

Natalia Bariatska, in the presentation “Using Micromine Software in Mining and Geological Education in Ukraine”, highlighted the experience of Ukrainian mining and geological universities in the educational process through participation in the Micromine Academic License Scheme social program.

Oleh Anisimov, Professor of Surface Mining Department, presented a joint report with Natalia Barіatska, Nina Safronova, and Oleksii Chernyaiev titled “Current  Grade Control in Open-Pit Mines Using Advanced Digital Technologies”. The presentation focused on quality control procedures for raw materials at mining enterprises and the capabilities of Micromine Origin & Beyond software. It outlined the workflow algorithm used for quality control during drilling and mineral extraction, as well as the key stages of the grade control process in Micromine software.
