Training "Micromine Origin. Advanced Course" for CJSC Teghout team

From 11 to 15 May, the team at Softmine LLC held an advanced training course on using Micromine Origin software for employees of Teghout CJSC.

Teghout CJSC is one of the largest mining companies in Armenia, specializing in the mining and processing of copper and molybdenum ores. The company operates the Teghout deposit in the Lori region, one of the country’s largest mining sites. 

The “Micromine Origin: Advanced Course” training programme and the accompanying training materials, developed exclusively for Teghout CJSC in accordance with the company’s requirements and specific operational needs, included the following:

• processing and analysis of geological data;
• application of different coordinate systems and their conversions;
• complex wireframe modeling;
• geological implicit modeling;
• geostatistics and kriging;
• block modeling and resource estimation.

As Teghout’s specialists have been using the Micromine Origin&Beyond software in their daily operations for about 10 years, the main objectives of the training were to improve skills in specific areas, such as geostatistics, and to involve a wider range of specialists in using the software.
