Life of Mine Plan preparation using optimization and strategic planning algorithms

Life of Mine planning is a critical process for mining company, that ensures the economic viability over the entire life of a mining project. With Life of Mine Plan, a company can predict potential operational and financial risks, providing the sustainable and profitable operation over the life of the mine period. Micromine Beyond Optimiser uses the Lehrch-Grossman algorithm to generate a Life of Mine Plan based on nested pit shells and pushbacks based on defined parameters and mining scenario.

Life of Mine Plan preparation is demonstrated on the example of open-pit mines, but the Micromine Beyond Optimiser has similar tools for underground mines.
