Overview of approaches to critical minerals listing in the US, EU and Ukraine

The article presents the results of an analysis of methodological approaches to the formation of lists of critical minerals (mineral raw materials) in the United States, the European Union, and Ukraine. Despite differences in methodology, the lists of critical and strategic minerals in these regions exhibit significant overlap. The implementation of international approaches to criticality assessment in Ukraine is highly important in the context of joint mineral extraction with the United States and European integration.
