Micromine Alastri Software Capabilities for Open Pit Mining Scheduling

The Master Class “Micromine Alastri software capabilities for open pit mining scheduling” was held online on 9 February 2024 hosted by the Department of Surface Mining of the Dnipro University of Technology.

In March 2023, the department received an academic licence for Micromine Origin&Beyond and has been successfully using this software in the educational process.

The Master Class was co-organised by Softmine LLC, the Department of Surface Mining of Dnipro University of Technology and a representative of Micromine Alastri .

The speakers were Boris Sobko, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department, Nataliia Bariatska, Doctor of Geological Sciences, Director of Softmine LLC, and Danylo Lysenko, Micromine Alastri Product Specialist (the main speaker).

The presentation described Micromine in general, the place of Micromine Alastri in the software product line and the specifics of its application for operational planning of open pit mining operations. Danylo demonstrated the work of the main software modules and functions.

The 64 participants, including students and professors of Ukrainian universities, and mining engineers, attended the event. Thank you for your keen interest and questions.
