Micromine Training for Professors of the Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University

In the age of artificial intelligence and rapid digitalization of all industries, the implementation of innovative technologies in geological and mining education is crucial for the competitive advantages of future graduates in the labor market. 

Leading specialized software products have been used for geological exploration and mining for many years and have become an integral part of the daily operations of geological service and mining companies around the world. 

Micromine, a software company, provides free academic licenses to geological and mining universities around the world as part of the Academic License Scheme social program. Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University joined the program in March 2023.

On January 22, 2025, a training was held for teachers of the Department of Mining Technology and Construction and the Department of Surveying, which included an introduction to Micromine Origin & Beyond, work with geological exploration data, the basics of modeling, and quarry design.
