Llecture on Digital Technologies in Geology and Mining for Ivan Franko National University of Lviv

The Softmine LLC team visited the Geological Department of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv on 7 October 2024 with a guest lecture on Digital Technologies in Geology and Mining. The lecture was focused on the main areas of innovative digital technologies application and impact on the labour market and modern requirements for personnel.

In 2023, the Geological Department received 15 academic licences of Micromine Origin & Beyond under the Micromine Social Licence Scheme. The opportunities provided by Micromine to users of academic licences allow to effectively implement the software in the educational process and maximise its benefits for modern geological education.

The lecture included a workshop on the functionality of Micromine Origin & Beyond for processing exploration data, geological and block modelling of mineral deposits.
