CRIRSCO and UNFC: Transparety of the Subsoil Use Sector

The classifications of mineral resources CRIRSCO (Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards) and UNFC (United Nations Framework Classification) have been analysed considering the history, evolution, practical application and structure of classifications. Reviews developers and key users, the specific considerations regarding technical and economic factors and economic viability, as well as reporting requirements. Similarities and key differences regarding objectives and application areas are highlighted in the context of their potential use in Ukraine.
